Held on June 2 at Tribeca Cinemas in NYC, “The Life After” premiered to a sold out audience with rave reviews! It was obvious that everyone found the film thoroughly entertaining and intriguing at the same time. The thunderous applause that continued throughout the entire end credits was evidence enough of the audience’s reaction.
The evening kicked off with a few welcome words from Co-Producer Amy Coneys, and Writer and Director Matt Coneys. The film was well received even during the screening, with the audience hitting all the right laughs and cries.
Immediately following was an informative Question & Answer session with Matt Coneys, Carson Hinners (“Ben Turner”) and Lynn Mancinelli (“Cat”). The three panelists answered some very interesting and difficult questions, and provided an insight into the film that many audience members had not previously considered.
To cap off the night, everyone was invited into the Tribeca Cinemas lounge for a birthday reception (honoring Director Matt Coneys). The audience had a chance to meet the cast and crew, and find out what it was like working on a real movie set; which for some was the first time. The cast and crew also had a chance to catch-up and make plans to work together again soon. It was a wonderful ending to a wonderful evening.
